All of our woodenware beekeeping equipment is manufactured in Ontario, Canada @ Stranks Bee Farm. After manufacturing our own equipment for nearly a decade we noticed a need for quality and affordable beekeeping equipment. Bees have a lot of enemies, and they need a strong immune system. It has been shown that the hive they live in is an integral part of that immune system. The type of hive body you keep your bees in can either increase, or decrease their immune system. We design ours to increase it.

Roughened interiors on beekeeping equipment helps with propolis adhesion which in turn has been proven to aid in overall health of bee colony.

*NOTE*

Varroa, AFB, and EFB continue to be some of the worst pests of bees. I would never tell a beekeeper not to monitor and manage these pests and diseases.
