Our spelt berries are sourced from certified organic farmers, ensuring every kernel is packed with nutrients, fiber, and protein. Like all whole grains, the vitamins and minerals in spelt break down quickly once milled, which is why it’s best to grind it fresh right before baking. Milling spelt berries through a stone flour mill in your kitchen preserves all parts of the grain — bran, germ, and endosperm — giving you the freshest, most nutritious flour possible.

Spelt has a naturally nutty, slightly sweet flavor and a lighter texture than modern wheat, making it perfect for rustic breads, pancakes, muffins, or even pasta. Its lower gluten content means it doesn’t rise as high as hard red wheat, but it works beautifully in sourdough recipes or when mixed with stronger flours for bread.

If you want to bake with fresh, wholesome heritage grains, spelt berries are an excellent choice for your kitchen — combining history, flavour, and nutrition in every batch
