Our fresh stone milled flour is milled fresh to order from whole wheat berries for when you need it. The vitimines, minerals, and fatty acids break down quickly in whole milled flour making it go rancid in less than 2 weeks unless frozen.
What this means is that for you to have all the benefits of flour it can't be pre-milled and placed on a shelf.
All the parts of the wheat berry (bran, germ, endosperm) are milled through a stone flour mill then delivered (or picked up) to you the same day.
Fresh, nutritious, whole flour has a delicious whole food taste that you can be proud to prepare your favourite recipe with.
Varieties:
Soft White Flour has a lower gluten (rising) content and is not suited for making breads that need to rise. It is great to use in muffins, pancakes or other non-rising breads.
Hard Red Flour has a higher gluten (rising) content and is good for breads that need to rise, but can also be used for non-rising breads
Oat Flour can be used for gluten free recipe's however We use the same mill for oat flour and wheat flour so it is not "gluten free"
Red Fife is an heirloom variety that was developed in 1842 in Peterborough Ontario. it has a lower gluten content than hard red so it is best mixed with hard red for rising breads, or used in non-rising breads

We produce some products we sell, but the rest are carefully sourced from trusted suppliers with preference on local.
Are your products all certified organic?
No, not all our products are certified organic. However, any of the farmers we work with that are not certified use regenerative practises.
Do you deliver for free?

Are you family owned?
Yes, Patrick's family has been farming in This area for 7 generations. While he is the first beekeeper of the family, he is proud to cary on the tradition of agriculture.
