In 2024 Al and Keri Lochart who had run Beaver Valley Gold and The Honey House for 20+ years, partnered with Patrick and Miriam Stranks of Stranks Family Farms to ensure another generation of local, pure Beaver Valley Honey.

They passed down their love of bees, love for the community, and commitment to purity. The same great honey will continue to be available for years to come, harvested from right in the Beaver Valley

    Beaver Valley Gold has almost 100 years of history within the Towns of Clarksburg and Thornbury. Originally founded by Murray Reekie, and passed down through the generations, we have a history of great tasting, local honey!

  • Apiaries

    An apiary is a location where bees are kept. We have 20+ apiaries throughout the Beaver Valley and Municipality of Meaford. Some of these locations have been used continuously since the beginning.

  • Honey

    The rolling slopes of the Beaver Valley and Municipality of Meaford offer a landscape of mixed pasture, hay fields, and wild lands, giving our bees a vast array of flowers to visit
